Every year, we have a competition for young creative Art Directors under age of 29 here in Denmark. It's called Guldspiren (trans.: The Golden Seed) and is part of Cannes Lions Advertising Festival - [link]
Each year, we get a briefing and 24 hours to solve the 2 ad campaigns. Each team includes two Art Directors. 24 hours without sleep - it's tough. If the team gets nominated it's a very big honour. If the team wins, we get to travel to Cannes, France and participate in the Cannes Lions Advertising Festival. I have participated in the Guldspire competitions since 2001. My good friend and team mate Ida Kinch and I have created 2 ads. This year, the Danish Organ Transplant Association was the client. The purpose of the ad campaign is to inform the Danish population about donating organs after their death. This is the first one of the two ad campaigns.
